Custom Complete Mountaineering

A customized alpinism and mountaineering course that combines an Glacier Travel & Crevasse Rescue course with an Intro to Trad Climbing course and then 2 days up on Tricouni for a summit and some time in the mountains to practice the skills learned in the training courses.

Topics that are to be covered:

• Glacier Travel, Crevasse Rescue 
• Traditional Rock Climbing & Gear Placement
• Route finding
• Alpine/mountaineering camp site selection etc.

Trip Details:

• GT & CR course – 1
  day in smoke bluffs


• Intro to trad course – 1
  day in smoke bluffs


• Alpinism – 2 days on
  Tricouni




• Day 1: hike in and
  set-up camp




• Cover some crevasse
  rescue on the snow


• Some snow school, snow
  anchors




• Day 2: climb North Ridge
  and then hike out




• Cover route finding


• Client led with guide
  overseeing as much as possible
